Video on Journal Writing

Video screening of a Japanese class using journal writing to learn about empathy, showing care and concern towards others and issues on self-worth.

I then instructed the class to keep a journal titled their "LIFE" book. Journals will be collected once a week by Mr Low.

Pupils then had to set goals and reflect on potential problems and fears they may encounter and brainstorm solutions. Some pupils could not complete the assignment in class and thus had to complete it at home.

Things To Note For The 1st Week Of School

1) The class timetable will be issued to the students on the first day of school.

2) Please advise your child to make use of the lockers provided in school to minimise the load they need to carry to school daily. Lockers will be assigned to them on the first day. They may leave their textbooks, art material, extra exercise books, etc in their lockers.

3) Please be reminded to prepare a working thermometer that should be brought to school daily. A compulsory temperature taking exercise will be conducted on 7Jan (Thurs).

I hope you're as excited as I am about the new year. :)
